Welcome to
NACOPRW Milwaukee!

NACOPRW Milwaukee, proud member of the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women, Inc., is committed to enriching the representation and influence of Puerto Rican and Hispanic women in all facets of community life. Through workshops, cultural events, and leadership initiatives, the organization actively empowers women while celebrating their rich cultural heritage.

About NACOPRW
The National Conference of Puerto Rican Women (NACOPRW) was established in 1972 in Washington, D.C., as a nonpartisan nonprofit organization to support the civic and cultural participation of Puerto Rican and Hispanic women across the United States and Puerto Rico.
The Milwaukee Chapter was founded in 2015, quickly making an impact by hosting the NACOPRW National Conference during its first year. Since then, we have led cultural, educational, and professional development initiatives while providing aid to Puerto Rican communities both locally and on the island.

Our Mission: To preserve and promote Puerto Rican and Latina heritage while empowering women through mentorship, leadership, and advocacy for a better tomorrow.
NACOPRW Future Leader Scholarship

NACOPRW Future Leader Scholarship

Established to honor NACOPRW's mission of promoting the full participation of Puerto Rican and Hispanic women in economic, social, and political life, this scholarship is our Milwaukee chapter's direct investment in the next generation of Latina leaders in our community. Each year, we award scholarships to young Puerto Rican women who have demonstrated exceptional promise, academic dedication, and a passion for giving back. We believe that when a Latina woman is empowered with education, her entire community rises with her.
