The National Conference of Puerto Rican Women (NACOPRW) was established in 1972 in Washington, D.C., as a nonpartisan nonprofit organization to support the civic and cultural participation of Puerto Rican and Hispanic women across the United States and Puerto Rico. The Milwaukee Chapter was founded in 2015, quickly making an impact by hosting the NACOPRW National Conference during its first year. Since then, we have led cultural, educational, and professional development initiatives while providing aid to Puerto Rican communities both locally and on the island.
Our Mission: To preserve and promote Puerto Rican and Latina heritage while empowering women through mentorship, leadership, and advocacy for a better tomorrow.
